David May age 58 of Glenview. Beloved husband of Kathryn May nee Fuerst; devoted son of Natalie and the late Gerry May; dear brother of Donald (Kim) May; fond brother-in-law of Christina (Robert) Wilke and Nicholas (Deb Polly) Fuerst; dear uncle of Devin May, McCahey, Joymarie and Sullivan Fuerst.

Dave was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle and dear friend.

Avid Golfer (lived to play), BMW aficionado (had 24 of them) and a true dog lover. (Adopted 15 rescue dogs). He also played semi-pro basketball after college for a couple of years.

Dave was a big man with an even bigger heart. Never one to boast, he would be the first one there to lend a hand. If anyone needed anything, Dave would always be the first person they called.

He had a soft spot for the homeless and those who served the military. He loved taking care of rescue dogs, adopting and caring for those that were un-adoptable.

Dave enriched the lives of many people and those he loved and cared for enriched him.

He will be dearly missed..
